Our winter hobby- Baja bugs!

When I sold my '68 Charger last winter I decided that I needed a winter time hobby, NOT more summer hobbies that interfered with my riding of motorcycles.  I knew that if I bought another muscle car, my life would not change one bit.  So I focused on making some changes.  Since I have always hated winter, hated being cold, but LOVE anything gasoline powered, after much thinking, I decided on Baja bugs.

The Baja bugs are basically just like dual sports/enduros, but that you can get in when really cold, raining or the possibilities of foul weather are on the horizon.  The green '69 is my second Baja.

They really are a lot of fun and I can't believe more people aren't into them.  They get over 30 mpg, have a range of at least 250 miles without worrying about gas, have wipers, a cab and since we take the backseats and passenger seats out, they can carry ANYTHING you happen to find at a thrift store or yard sale when you're out.  Believe me, I know I hauled a five foot shelve to store my motorcycle helmets.

Cool rocks headed to Mears Bluff

I love big rocks and I cannot lie!

Also went to visit the "Bubbler" or as the Yellville Chamber of Commerce describes it, "The natural Artesian Well".  It is  located on Highway 14, then go to Marion County Road 5040, go approx 1/2 mile.  According to Google it is actually called Big Springs but everyone knows it as being located in Ralph today.
